I really enjoyed my three nights here, especially the beautiful Japanese garden and the comfy couch in the room which was perfect for relaxing after a long day. The lounge area and tea room provided great spots to unwind as well. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi could be a bit slow at times, but it didn’t ruin my stay. 😊

Our stay was fantastic! The beds were super comfortable and the shower pressure was amazing. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, making it a perfect start to our busy days.

The homemade breakfast spread was a feast for the senses, with delightful local flavors like fresh dashi soup that warmed the soul. Plus, the welcome drink station had a refreshing touch with free cold green tea and sake – a true Kyoto perk! The hotel had a stylish lobby that blended traditional and modern vibes beautifully.

However, that 'Japanese style' mattress was a trio of foldable sections that left us feeling like we were sleeping on the floor. The coin laundry was a little cramped, and good luck using it during peak hours – we ended up hand washing our clothes.

The location left much to be desired, being quite a trek from the nearest bus stops and railway stations, making it tricky to get around with tired feet. The breakfast selection barely changed throughout the stay, with soggy croissants that lacked any real appeal. Notably, the room's mattress felt uncomfortable, breaking apart during the night and leaving us with sore backs. Moreover, the overall decoration seemed dated and in need of maintenance, with stained carpets that detracted from the otherwise classy appearance.

I had a fantastic four-night stay with excellent breakfast and a warm atmosphere that made me feel right at home. It's just a short stroll to the incredible Kyoto Tower and the vibrant Nishiki Market, making it perfect for my weekend wanderings.

This hotel was just a proper fit for strolling around in Kyoto with good price-quality ratio. The breakfast options were basic but included some Danish pastries that were pretty decent. Tip, Ask about non-Japanese breakfast items if you're looking for something different.

Comfortable room, convenient location, where we enjoyed a beautifully designed Japanese-Style Superior King Room with excellent amenities like air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, just a short walk from the main train station, making exploration very easy.
